Using my own domain with wordpress website

  Already I have my own domain. I need to create a WordPress site. What are the steps?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Good day, ashee2001!

  So, once you have created your WordPress account and logged in (after confirming email), you will begin the process of setting up your site.
  First, you will name the site.
  Second, you will choose a domain. As you begin typing, you will see several options relating to what you have typed. The last option will always show:
  “Already own a domain? Use a domain I own.”
  Click that link to begin the process of using your own domain. The wizard will then give you the option to transfer your domain to WordPress or map the domain to WordPress without changing your current provider (domain registrar).

  If you choose to map (maintain current domain registrar), you will need to contact your current registrar to update nameserver settings for your domain.
