Using our SSL certificate in mapping domain to WP.com

  If I map my domain to my blog, can I use the SSL certificate for my domain for the hosted WP site? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  No, WordPress.com is not able to support SSL for mapped domains. Our certificate is signed for WordPress.com. You can read more about that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
