using the follow buttons

  Hey guys, I am very new to blogging and not as technically savvy as I would like to believe. When I went in to create widgets and add follow buttons for my Twitter and Instagram accounts, the links that I copied and pasted let them logged them directly into my account. Eek. Can someone help guide me through how to do this? Also, just out of curiosity what is the cost for ‘claiming domain name’?

  No problem, I’m happy to answer any questions you have!

  When I went in to create widgets and add follow buttons for my Twitter and Instagram accounts, the links that I copied and pasted let them logged them directly into my account.

  Using the social icons widget or Twitter follow button won’t give other people the ability to login to your accounts. What have you seen to suggest other people have been able to login to one of your accounts using a URL?

  If you have an example of the URL you are concerned about, please make a screenshot and upload it to your Media Library so I can take a look. No need to share the file URL here as I’ll be able to find it :)

  Also, just out of curiosity what is the cost for ‘claiming domain name’?
