using wordpress on my own domain site

    I am signed up temporarily to a web host I used over 10yrs ago. I want to set up a community website with forum or blog.

    I am having to start again as multiply are closing this side of things down. I am new to these blogs etc, I want my own domain for the site, make it members only (NOT ADULT), add all the pages I wish for the community, like photos, items wanted, items for sale, rental etc etc..

    can I do this kind of thing totally with WordPress?? If so what is my package I can use to best suit things?

    can I create a site/blog so that after “x” amount of time, messages are deleted?

    the site would be called “Los Campellos Community”, I have some experience of site building, but my site company does not support blogs…….. I would prefer to have it all under one roof as it were. would it be wise to do an account called “Los Campellos” ??

    You can do this with WordPress, but WordPress.ORG, not WordPress.COM. So you need to head over there for some guidance.
