using wordpress on other sites

  How do I post on other people’s web sites through their wordpress? Each time I try logging in, my user name is not recognized.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi. Not sure if this answers your question but in case you didn’t know, your WordPress.COM username and password only work on WordPress.COM hosted blogs, not on self-hosted WordPress.ORG blogs.

  Could you rephrase? I’m not sure I understand the question: are you talking about making blog posts on other people’s blogs, or commenting? Which sites, specifically?

  airodyssey. Thanks. Guess I figured out that I was actually talking about the self hosted wordpress.com sites – the ones people pay that annual fee to have like a .com site.
  Maybe the person I saw was posting comments on his/her own sites and I thought we could do the same. but not.

  (And for the record, you CAN have your own domain name at WordPress.COM, but that’s another story)
