Validate Domain claims not registered, My Domains says custom Domain is Active

  Hi, I’m not finding the answer to why my domain is not valid with WordPress. I’ve transferred my domain. I had to wait for my previous provider to expire the domain ownership to complete my transfer (taking 60 days). I own my domain with ICAAN. I removed the email DNS record (MX) for now. I’m not sure if I’m missing other DNS records for my custom domain or not. What am I missing with completing my domain registration in WordPress?

  Hi Shawna, the custom domain is: menbuild.org. Currently, I have menbuild.net running, but would like my primary to be menbuild.org. And, thanks for responding so quickly.

  Thanks for that info! It looks like the domain menbuild.org is not currently registered. I’ve removed your Domain Mapping upgrade and given your account 13 credits so that you can register the domain. Just go to Store > My Domains and click on Register a New Domain Name.
