    My info can’t be validated as i have not entered a state. I can’t enter a state as I’m south african. please explain

    What exactly are you trying to verify?

    I’m also South African, and have never been unable to verify anything on WordPress.com due to a requirement for a state. The only place where I can think that information might be required is in domain contact information when you register a domain, and if a state field is still required even after you set the country to South Africa, it will likely accept your province as a valid input – most systems online use “state” and “province” interchangeably, as some countries use the one and some use the other.
