Variations on my site

I am fully aware of the application of the variable features in WordPress.
The issue is they are just too cumbersome to work and tie the site/computer up.
What I need is a selectable variation section in the cart area.
Once the customer has selected the image page the current options offer all of the possible choices.
When you have 3 image selections, 12 size selectable options and then add a selection for 5 or 6 colours of tee shirt they do not all fit on one page and WordPress can only store 50 variations per item anyway.
The current solution to this is to have a different product page for each particular image and then only put the men’s sizes on that one.
Then create the same for the lady’s version of the same item.
All will have up to 50 items if there are 2 or 3 colour shirt options and multiply this by the number of shirt sizes by 7 for Extra Small through to Extra Extra Large. We do offer sizes up to 5XLbut I can never fit these on any of the pages as I simply run out of options.

I believe the most workable solution would be for a selectable dropdown menu for each of the standard variables could be put in the cart page. This would resolve a huge number of issues for myself and most probably many people.

  • Hi there!

It sounds like you may be talking about WooCommerce? If so, it’s best if you post this directly to their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/.
