Veed.io API integration

  Hi, i would like to be able to integrate the veed.io API into my wordpress site, but before i upgrade to the business plan, i’d like to ensure this will be a possible integration?

  Hi there,

  To my knowledge veed.io is an online video editor. It’s not a video hosting service that you could possibly integrate into your WordPress site.

  What exactly are you looking to do with veed.io and your WordPress.com site? Please give me more information so that I can better help you find a solution.

  Hi Fstat,

  Thank you so much for getting back to me.

  We want people to be able to come onto our website and log into their personalised member portal where they can film video messages and record audio messages from within their browser on any device (plus be able to upload these files) and then save them and be able to access them from within their profile/dashboard. From this point they then should be able to access these videos in their account and assign email addresses for each message to be sent to at a later time… I’ve seen ziggeo & pipe… But I’ve also seen some other in-browser filming and audio recording options which simply connect to storage…

  Do you have any recommendations for how best to achieve this on wordpress?

  To my knowledge, there aren’t many ready solutions that allow you to directly record on your own hosting space. That would require some fairly heavy customization by a web developer.

  The only service with an official plugin for WordPress that also has a high rating is Ziggeo.

  Their plugin plays well with other membership plugins which will allow you to built that community site of yours.
