  I’ve clicked on verifying the email several times in the past 2 hours and have not received it. Can someone help me? Thank you.

  First place to look is in your email’s spam folder. If you are using gmail and use the various Inbox tabs, check each tab. If you still haven’t gotten it, log out of WordPress.com and head to the Contact Support page http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ where there should be a box to resend the activation email.
