Verification Email

  I’m trying to verify my email address in order to publish posts but an email is not being sent to my address by wordpress, even when I press re-send. I have also tried an alternate email address- HELP!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m also trying to get started with wordpress and am not receiving the activation e-mail.

  Hi there,
  Please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. Then post both email addresses here knowing the software will redact them ie. hide them so only Staff can read them. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up.   checked the spam folder, social, promotions, notifications, all mail and searched for the activation e-mail. I received the notification on this post but not my activation e-mail. the e-mail is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  yeah same issue I checked the spam and socials sections on my gmail. And same thing again I’ve received notifications from this thread response. my email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  ditto, no verification email, tried resending and tried checking spam, social, promotions, etc. in my email, (email visible only to moderators and staff) , in order to verify my address and to proceed to publish.

  @beckywelternolan — I see you had this resolved in a separate support thread, so you should be all set. :)

  Also, in the future, it would help staff to have each of you start a new forum thread with your request for help. That helps us keep track of each request and make sure nothing gets mixed up in the process. Thanks!

  @scatmancrothers17 — Hm, that’s odd. Can you please try searching your email for emails with the subject line “Verification Email”? (You can also try searching for emails from WordPress.com.)

  If you still don’t find that email from me, please try updating the email in your account settings to a different email address: https://wordpress.com/me/account

  You’ll receive a confirmation email at the new email address you enter there, and once you click the confirmation link in *that* email it will change your account email address and have the added benefit of confirming it so your account is fully activated.
