verifying domain ownership to google

  how do i prove to google that i own this domain? i’m setting up my business email through them. And they say I have to either upload an html file to my wordpress site or add ’google-site-verification=uKevwoy_lFZ1iYaiylKeNGOCpJEGoAcb0BYMftHO8c4’ to the dns record for my domain rorymacdrums.com.
  I don’t know how to do any of this…can you help?
