verifying my domain

  i recently cancelled my subscription, but still have my domain as i have already paid for it. I am currently trying to transfer it (its only been a few weeks), but when i did the new website said that it isn’t registered. as i try to fix it on wordpress it said ‘DNS errors’ domain not verified, i do not know how to resolve the issue.the domain seems to be unavailable but also unregistered? any ideas?

  Hi withlovecc,

  Thanks for confirming. Your account shows you recently cancelled that domain — doing so means you no longer own it. withlovecc.com has since been released back into the pool of available domains.

  The good news is withlovecc.com is currently available. If you want to use the domain again I recommend registering it as soon as you can. It can be registered using any domain provider you like.

  We only recommend cancelling a domain if you don’t want to use it again in the future, as there is no guarantee you will be able to get it back again. I just wanted to mention this in case this situation pops up again in the future. It’s better to transfer the domain as you maintain ownership of it :)

  In your original forum post, you mentioned transferring the domain. Where did you originally want to transfer it to?

  If you’d like to use the domain for a site hosted elsewhere, you may want to consider registering it through your hosting provider — that way everything can be managed from the same place.

  The other option is to register the domain through WordPress.com from this page:

  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/

  We can then help you point the domain towards your new site.
