Verifying my free site with Google Analytics.

    Good Morning,

    I’m trying to figure out how to insert the verification META tag into my head section of my new free WordPress site. I’m of the old school where you have an index page and can view the HTML for all this but I’m stumped when it comes to your set-up. How do I add this code in the right place? I don’t have the money to hire someone and I need to learn how to do this for myself.

    Any direction you can provide in this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thi is not possible on a free wordpress.com website. Adding Google Analytics to a WordPress.com site or blog is available as a feature of the WordPress.com Premium, Business, and eCommerce plans, https://wordpress.com/support/google-analytics/
