Victim of Fraud

    I just, as of 07/15/22 @ 7:25pm EST, attempted to set up an account (under DanaT12) w/Wordpress for the SOLE purpose of actually speaking to someone. Why? Because an account was set up and paid for FRAUDULENTLY using my debit card and I only found out about it today @ 5:50pm. Apparently, someone paid for an account at your San Jose location via a PayPal acct. they set up w/’my’ debit card on 05/24/21 in the amount of $121.68!! What’s worse is it RENEWED this year for the same amount of $121.68 on 05/24/22. I am FURIOUS and DEMAND ‘ALL’ of my money back!! I don’t know how this person got my account #, but my credit union WILL not refund me my money on old transactions. My cell phone # is [redacted] and my email address is [redacted] and the transaction ID of one of these illegal transactions is:
    4029357733. I will send this correspondence to my local police or the RC Sheriff’s Dept.

    ‘I am the true holder of this card and was scammed! I did not make this transaction and need someone at WordPress to call me immediately at [redacted]! I have spoken to [my bank] and I have made the dispute. I also plan to call my local Sheriff’s Dept. to file a report. Apparently, via Paypal, this account was set up and paid fraudulently using my card. What’s word, it was renewed for a second year. I am very upset and want ALL of my money back!! What are you going to do to rectify this WordPress? I certainly plan to press charges. Thanks Dana Tucker’

    I also tried looking up the transaction ID you shared, and that seems to be a phone number for PayPal instead. We’ll leave that there for context in case you want to compare to your notes.
