video alignment/ sizing

  I uploaded a quicktime video, dimensions 1024 by 576, from my computer but when it uploaded the dimensions had changed to 720 by 576
  I can resize the video viewing window but can’t see how to get it to upload as 16:9. it always plays as 4:3 in the viewer.
  Also, when the video uploads to my blog (vigilance theme) it is always centred.
  id like to align the video player window to the left with corresponding explanatory text to the right.
  Ive manged this with photos but not videos. Is there a way to align the video to the left so that i can have text to right effectively creating two columns.

  Unfortunately I don’t have a solution but I have the same problem. I have uploaded a video from vodpod and it is right aligned in my blog but I want it left aligned. Any help would be much appreciated.

  ok – i figured out a solution. it might not be the most efficient but if you copy the embedded video code (literally type it in as text) from the left of screen exactly as embedded then delete the original code and update – voila!! The video is left aligned and fills out the blog :)

  Depends on your theme’s CSS, actually.

  You can put it in Div tags, and that’s the easiest way.
