Video from blip.tv does not appear in blog post

Embeded video from blip.tv does not appear in blog post. I have encountered this problem in the past and it required engineer assistance. I now have two blog posts (from today 7/24 and last week, 7/17) that will not show embeded video from blip.
I’m attempting to emed the code from http://blip.tv/thefatsquirrelspeaks/episode-22-in-which-i-punch-people-in-the-face-with-love-6270811 into the post from 7/24 and the code from http://blip.tv/thefatsquirrelspeaks/episode-21-burlesque-at-the-bottom-6259070 into the post from 7/17.
After these specific issues are resolved, is there something I can do to avoid these problems in the future?
Thank you so much,
Amy

Do you have any better luck if you just paste in the video’s URL?
-
Unfortunately no….For some reason, that has never worked for me. I have followed the directions for the process and have even had other bloggers hold my hand through the process, but alas, no luck.
-
By any chance, is embedding disabled for these videos?
Also, are you able to embed videos from other channels?
-
Embedding is not disabled and I have also tried to embed other channels onto fresh clean posts without luck.
-
Ok, this is getting very strange.
Can you embed http://blip.tv/beettv/matt-mullenweg-wordpress-6163298 in a test page or post?
-
I copy, paste, break the link, and hit save draft.
There is no embeded video, just a text version of the address.
Clearly, my account is haunted.

Ok, how about this?
[blip.tv http://blip.tv/play/goRrgviXRgI?p=1 width="780" height="438"] -

Ah, perfect!
Now, try this:
[blip.tv http://blip.tv/play/AYL%2B3z8C?p=1 width="596" height="334"] -
-
Blast. Ok, one more. Try:
http://blip.tv/geek/geek-out-print-is-dead-and-other-news-6271627and:
[blip.tv http://blip.tv/play/gdsIgv7lbwI?p=1 width="780" height="438"] -
The first one doesn’t work, but the second one does (although it doesn’t change the ratio to one that will “fit” into the space available).
-
Ok, so we have two Blip.tv videos that effectively work, but not yours.
I’m not familiar enough with Blip.tv to notice any difference between yours and the others.
Does Blip.tv have a support contact that you could check with? Maybe there is a setting preventing them from embedding.

Here is the response from blip:
Hi Amy,
Unfortunately it looks like WordPress is having an issue embedding these particular episodes because they contain % signs in the embed code itself. We’re looking into preventing this in the future but at this time there is not a workaround on our end. You would need to create entirely new episodes in order to create new embed codes.
Is there a workaround for this % issue on the wordpress side of things?
-
Hm, there just might be, I’m glad they found that!
Thanks for letting us know, and we are looking into this.
