Hi there,
I see that you uploaded a video to your most recent blog post here: http://trueloveadventures.com/2013/08/02/more-orca/
When you first upload a video, the video has to be processed before it will appear on your blog. In the meantime, you may see a black screen. However, once the video finishes processing it will appear as expected. You can read more about this process here: VideoPress
Please let me know if you have any other questions about this!

Actually, I understand that it takes time to load but the first few times I tried to load it just said the file type (.mov) was unacceptable. I finally exported the file from Aperture to my desktop instead of just dragging it into the media file and the transfer worked. I thought I should be able to click and drag it into the media program.

Thanks for the additional explanation. WordPress.com isn’t set up for direct uploads from Aperture, so you will need to export the file from Aperture first. You can then drag the file from your desktop to your media library or use the “Select Files” button to select the exported video file.

Thank you for that feedback! I changed the upload instructions on the VideoPress support page, to clarify that files need to be dragged from the desktop or a folder on your computer to upload them to your WordPress.com media library.

Thank you, but it only worked when I exported them using the export command. It did not work when I dragged it to my computer and then tried to drag it into wordpress.
