  I have a video file that I want to host on wordpress and be able to get an embedded code so I can put it on my other website which doesn’t self generate an embedded code since it only allows html. Given there is business intent for the video I don’t want to use vimeo or youtube as a player. Instead I think a windows player would be best.

  I think I need to purchase video press upgrade or take my blog to premium. However, I want to get some guidance before I embark on those steps to make sure the goal is attainable. Please provide instructions on how I can accomplish my goals. Thank you.

  Yes, you would need the videopress and storage upgrades.
