Voting platform and database

  I’m trying to create a voting platform where users can either nominate or vote for candidates. First they see if the candidate exists on the site/app, then if not, they can nominate (add) the candidate and then place their vote. I want to collect email addresses of voters and send them updates when their candidate reaches 100 votes.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  For that type of site you will need to hire a web host and set up a WordPress.ORG software install. See: http://move.wordpress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
