Want to add a "Past Events" or "Archive" to the side menu but cannot – why?

    Trying to move things from the header to the side bar, if possible – the thread about creating a “custom menu” doesn’t help me either. Can’t seem to tweak things manually – even if I try! Getting a little frustrated at this point, as this issue seems it should be more “user-friendly” and logical; instead I’m wasting time to figure out ONE little thing. Argh.

    Note: I want to avoid using a calendar widget on the side menu. I just want to link to past events in an easy fashion without browsing through a bunch of themes to find one allowing this function…

    Just use the Archive widget. Do you not see it in your list?
