Want to Add Disqus to my blog

  Hi there, I’ve been trying all weekend to find a way to add Disqus to my wordpress hosted site, but without any luck. There isn’t an add plugin option/tab in the dashboard to begin with, its so frustrating as all websites these days are using disqus as a standard comment management plugin . Please may we get this option into our wordpress’s soon.

  raincoaster its 2013 and the web is constantly changing, why can’t disqus be available as an option? Its the standard across most web pages, surely its time to get in with the new!

  Disqus is not new: dates to 2007 and frankly does not work well if your site gets popular. Did you read the threads I linked to?

  Yes I have read some of the topic post, but I think anyone would agree with me that this restriction isn’t right, yes we are grateful for the free hosting but this string attached to it isn’t right. Guess now I have to explore self hosting options. And steer away my clients and friends from free hosting too.

  If you insist on Disqus, yes, you will have to be self-hosted.
