want to change email

  I am currently using an email address ( (email visible only to moderators and staff)) that is too long and want to change it to ( (email visible only to moderators and staff)) which is associated with my licensed name

  It is allowing me to submit a new email but not sending me the confirmation email…

  Hi there, if you are using gmail, make sure to check all your inboxes as well as your spam folder.

  Let us know how that goes.

  Yes, please report back once you’ve checked as justjennifer mentions. With gmail, sometimes things end up in the “social” folder as well.

  Where exactly did you change the email address?

  Was it at https://wordpress.com/me/account ?

  I was told that I would receive a confirmation email to change the email and have not found it in my spam folder etc.
  I am unable to set up my wp mail smtp either until this issue is resolved… please help!
