Want to close my account and terminate all payments

    I want to close my account but when I do so it fails and asks me to contact support. Please can you terminate and close the account and stop all automatic payments.

    Hi there,

    The account you’re using to post here has never bought anything from WordPress.com, so there is nothing to cancel.

    I do see you had an Akismet subscription. Support for that service is provided by the people at Akismet.com, not in this forum, but it looks like you already cancelled that yesterday, and there’s nothing in your account that will prevent you from closing it at this point.
