  I want to close this website and want to add my own domain.

  If you want your content currently at https://britishmathematics.wordpress.com/ to appear at your own domain, you need to upgrade to one of our paid plans, and then register a domain.

  Register a new domain

  But if you close/delete that site, it will cease to exist, and you won’t be able to add your own domain to it.
