want to delete my blog entry , but it seems to be not that easy.

    1. in the past i set up a wordpress account + a blog
    2. i found out about wordpress.org and decided to work with that
    3. i set up a blog via wordpress.org – using my webspace provider (1und1) and a subdomain of my original webpage
    3.1 i downloaded the plugin “jetpack by wordpress.com”
    3.2 to make this plugin work you need to connect your “.org-blog” with your “.com-account”
    4. later , i quit my provider

    5. now, i want to delete this blog entry, which is still listed at my”.com-account” completly, but i cant enter the site, dashboard or whatsoever (so i can not do it in the easy official way, obviously) ... of course ... because the webspace, where all these dates have been collected , doesnt exist any more. so everytime i click on this blog entry .. all i get is a message “This webpage is not available” – and then i can choose between 2 buttons no. 1 is “try again” and no. 2 is “more”.both dont help.

    6. why do i want to delete this entry so badly … because i am not sure, that there are some “data leftovers”, as long as this entry exists, that can be crawled by google and other webpages, causing multible death search results. my main website doesn`t exist, any longer but the subdomains, that are connected to wordpress, do.

    7. i already deleted my sites and everything that is connected to that on my google webmaster account. by just deleting my sites. i didn`t know , that there is a way to submit your website for being deleted immediatly .. as i found out later. but google wrote , despite this fact, that at some point deleted pages will disappear. so maybe all this is just a matter of time.

    8. but still i `d like to know how to delete this entry.

    9. and is there a way to contact wordpress directly. i mean .. i know , that this service is huge and used so many people , but still .. is there something like a direct contact.

    If you are referring to the site linked to your username, then that site is Private and will not be crawled by search engines.

    Regardless, I will tag this for staff assistance, as it looks like they will need more information that perhaps you would prefer remain out of a public forum. Please subscribe to this thread so that you will see their reply.

    Hi mgeuer2013, I’d be happy to help with this!

    Since you already deleted the self-hosted blog, they will be deleted from Google search results eventually. You have taken all the right steps to do that. (WordPress.com can’t control what appears in search engine results like Google, but as Google said those deleted pages will disappear after some time.)

    I’d be happy to remove that blog from your WordPress.com account, as well. I just need you to confirm the URL of the blog (or blogs, if there is more than one) that you want to remove. If you aren’t comfortable posting the link here in the forum, you are welcome to email us at support AT wordpress DOT com and we can take care of it for you that way.

    ah .. and you were right. the “dead leftovers” in the search engine disappeard completly …. the only one left is infact the one above.
