want to make photo a link to page

  I don’t know how to make it so when you click on a photo it goes to another page? how do i link them. Everything I try doesn’t work is it easy? whats a widget? is it because I set up the image I want to be the link as gallery. It should work I choose the theme for this reason. photography theme if that helps

  You can make an image link to another page when you insert it into your site. We have instructions for how to do that here: Image Links

  Image links like that only work with single images, though. When you create a gallery, clicking on the image takes you to the full-size image carousel so you can scroll through the gallery. You can learn more about how galleries work here: Gallery

  whats a widget?

  Widget is a fancy word for tools or content that you can add, arrange, and remove from the sidebar(s) of your blog. You can manage your widgets under Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard. You can also learn more about them here: Widgets

  thanks. but now when I put the images in they will only go under each other rather than in a grid like form? how do I change this?

  Hi there,

  You can resize and align images in different ways on the page, so they create more of a grid form. We have more information about that at these links:

  hi, this didn’t really help. you’ll see on my front page @ http://maralythgo.com the images are scattered can I make a table to put them in or something? they look nicely spaced on my edit page but it doesn’t translate well by just using the alignment buttons! theres heaps of space so i don’t understand? and sometimes when adding new images they go in the box of the one before is this bad?

  Hi there,

  Thanks for sending a link to the page you’re working on — that really helps. I noticed that you have some images aligned to the left, some to the right, and some are centered. One way to make the images line up next to each other is to align all of them the same way. For example, you can make all of the image aligned to the left. That way, each image will be placed as far to the left as it can go, next to the image just before it.

  If you’d prefer to put the images in a table, you can create an HTML table and put your images in that. You can enter HTML into the text editor. If you’d like to learn how to create HTML tables, you might want to take a look at these resources:
