Want to make site private but tutorial doesn’t help
-
I want to make my site private because I have completely rebuilt it elsewhere, and when people search for my company name, they find my outdated WordPress site instead. I would like for this WordPress website to be private and undiscoverable from others.

When I follow the tutorial that the AI assistant points me to (https://wordpress.com/support/privacy-settings/) it tells me to go to Settings -> Reading -> Site Visibility. Unless I am completely blind, there is no option for making this WordPress website private (see screenshot above). Essentially, this tutorial from the AI bot is not helpful.
I need my website to be private and undiscoverable from Google Search. If people manage to find this site, I want it to redirect them to my new one, livingbybike.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s because your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but is self-hosted.
To make your old site redirect to your new site, you must take a look in your settings at Bluehost.
