Want to show summary view on front page … not working

  On my front page, I do not want the entirety of each article to show. My settings are as follows: Settings–>Reading–> Front page displays–> Front page displays
  Your latest posts And:
  Settings–>Reading–>For each article in a feed, show–>Summary.

  But this doesn’t work please help!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  That setting pertains to your RSS feeds. You can display summaries on your front page by using the “Read More” tag:
