want to transfer an existing domain in WordPress.com to another WordPress.com user

  I’ve created two websites but I want to transfer one domain to another. Please help ! ^_^
  I’m afraid to delete the first one and not beeing able to modify and use the domain for the second (despite the fact that it’s for a different email address). I wish someone could find a solution. Thanks a million!

  Hi there,

  I would be happy to help but first wanted to clarify what you are wanting:

  Are you wanting to transfer a site from your account to another account? Or are you wanting to transfer the content of one site to another site? I wasn’t completely sure. Either way, I can help! If it is the former, give me the site name that needs to be transferred along with the username/account that the site needs to be transferred to.

  Hi Darnell,

  Thank you for your response. It’s not about the content.
  I just want to use the domain name of a website I’ve created, to another one (I’ve got the free plan of wordpress).
  So my question is : If I delete the site, would I be able to use the name/domain in order to modify my second site ?

  You definitely do not want to do that. Once you delete a site, you will no longer have access to that address for at least two years.

  The best way to use the website address from one site you have to another is by Importing the content from one site to the other. What are the two site URLs you are referring to?
