Hello! I’ve just signed up to have my domain registered at godaddy to be hosted on bluehost. I had previously mapped my domain from godaddy to wordpress.com premium but I have cancelled this. Now that I am using wordpress.com from bluehost the message ‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.’ comes up and I am struggling with how to fix this

  • Hi there,

It appears you have accessed your GoDaddy control panel and removed our name servers:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

and replaced them with the settings that Bluehost recommends instead. For me those settings have taken effect, and I see a bluehost start page when I visit your site.

If you do not see the same on your end please be aware it can be up to 24 hours for your domain settings to update once they are changed, so if you do not see the Bluehost site yet you will soon.

    Hope this helps!

Ahh okay thank you! Seems like waiting is the only left to do! Really appreciate you checking that for me :)
