  I’m trying to find a way to add a watermark plugin to protect my images/pictures posted on my website. Can’t seem to find the pluginds option. Is it because I have a free package on WordPress ?

  No, it is because you have a WordPress.com blog and plugins are for WordPress.org blogs.

  Watermark your images before you upload them.
