We wanted to just purchase a domain and we were sold a complete pakage, now domain is redirecting to free website

Our current problem resides in the title itself, we purchased a domain and by accident purchased hosting aswell. We asked for a refund for the hosting only and it was provided however the free website is still lingering, once we use the name servers on the domain we purchased we are being redirected to the free website. it will not allow us to remove the redired nor delete the free website.
https://sircourierdelivery.com takes us to https://sircourierdelivery.wordpress.com for some reason.
We are using Wix to create the webste and WordPress to hold the domain, this is per our customer’s request. however if we cannot resolve this we will have to move the whole domain over and pay them instead.
personally i would like to manage the domain through WordPress.

I’m not seeing any upgrades associated with the WordPress.com user account you are posting from. This typically happens when you’ve ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that second account is the one that owns the upgrade. You’ll need to log into THAT account in order to make any changes.

on this account i was set as an administrator for this “project”.However i do have access to the primary account, thats how i added the name servers on the domain in the first place, im just using this account for name sake to “save” and link any changes made to my name.
Regarding the problem, how can we fix this? if you give me any steps to follow ill be going on the main account (marketingymedios)
do i require a basic 4$ plan to be able to use my domain on a different hosting site?
why is the website on wix (linked to the purchased domain) still sending me to the .wordpress.com domain (the free website)?regards
