Web address change

    I tried to change my web address due to a spelling error, but it will not adjust when I search for it or use the reader version. It has been a while since I have visited my page and I do not remember if there were restrictions regarding changing your web address, but as I wish to include this link on job applications, it is a big concern for me. My current web address is acousticaddition.wordpress but I want it to be acousticaddiction.wordpress

    Please let me know what I need to do or if you can fix the problem for me.

    The old version will have more search engine juice. This will continue until the new version has as many incoming links as the old version did.

    https://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=acousticaddiction That blog doesn’t exist. Just create it, then import your contents into it. Then set the old blog to Private or buy the Redirect Upgrade to divert all your traffic to the new URL.
