Web address forwarding after upgrading from free plan

  Hello – if I upgrade my free plan to a paid plan, and customize my web address so that it no longer includes ‘wordpress’ in the address, will users who use the old address get forwarded to the new domain? Thank you!

  Hi @mbatalentforhire, yes. Users will be forwarded to the new address, and search engines will also be informed that the address has changed so they can update their links.
