Web Creation without Domain attached initially

  Hi,

  I want to create a site and transfer my domain across from Squarespace once it is completed.

  Is it possible to do this? The steps won’t let me commence without doing so. If I pay upfront will this ability be afforded?

  Hello Ben,

  You don’t have to add your existing domain immediately, no. On the domains step, search for only a key word, not your full domain, and you’ll be able to select a free address instead of a custom domain. Then you can build your site at the free address, and only transfer your domain once you’re ready.
