  Hi. I have been reading online that with a business plan I can create and host an unlimited amount of websites however an ‘upgrade’ only applies to a single website and they must be paid per website each year. What does this mean and what is the cost. Note I am a web developer who will create multiple customer websites so I am trying to work out costs.

  Where exactly did you read this?

  You can create as many sites in a WordPress.com account as you want, but any plan you buy will only apply to the specific site for which you buy it. You also don’t pay for hosting on WordPress.com. Just for the additional feature added by a particular plan.

  So if you create a 100 sites in your account we’ll host all 100 for you for free, but if you want all 100 to have access to Business Plan features, you’ll have to buy a separate Business Plan for each site.

  We don’t currently offer any bulk-purchase or multi-site plan options.
