    thanks for getting back to me.
    The URL is kissimmee-vacation.us
    it is a sub domain under my other site euro-ind.com
    i have a username and password for the main site and can edit that with no problem but i have issues for kissimmee-vacation.us/wp-admin.php
    the thing is i set this second site up while my host was bluehost and i have managed to get a username and password that lets me go in, but when i get in it is not the site i built. In fact i must have set it up never used originally and then started again back in 2016. I seem to recall downloading from wp.org and starting all over again.
    i have not been in for some time but noticed in the last few days that photos are not loading at the top of the site and assume one of the plugins is out of date.
    i have tried every username i can to get in via the ‘lost password’ and wordpress just keeps telling me there is no user with that name. the only one it seems to approve is one that goes to an undeveloped site.
    i have also spent time in my current host ‘inmotion hosting’ to see if i can find a user and i can not.
    to make things worse i used my older MAC desk top to building the site and there seems to be no username stored in macs keychain.
    i also keep a word doc with such but obviously failed to update the data when rebuilding the site.
    sorry to be such a prat, hope there is a solution rather than to start all over again.

    Hi Cliff,

    As your site is hosted with Bluehost, and not with us, we’re not able to help with this. You’re posting in the forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and we have no control at all over your site.

    We’re not the same thing as the open source WordPress software you’re using. That is made by the community over on WordPress.org, and if you need help using that software you can ask them at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ instead.
