  hi there – i am hoping to set up a website as a result of my instagram page but i’ve stumbled across this which i set up years ago (and had completely forgotten about!) which means i can’t use my email address to set up my new account – is there anyway i can change this as i don’t wnat same domain name or anything?! but also was hoping to get it up and runnign while i’m furloughed rather than waiting for the 30 days if i close down my account! thanks so much

  Hi there,

  What exactly do you want to change? You can change both your username and the free WordPress.com address of your existing site if you want, and you can also just create a brand new site in this account by going to https://wordpress.com/start/site/

  There’s no need to delete this and create a new WordPress.com account to do any of these things.
