  Are you connected with GoDaddy? There’s an option to use WordPress to set up a website. I want to ensure that it’s the same company.

  wordpress.com is in no way related to Godaddy. Sites hosted by Godaddy use the open source wordpress.org, not the wordpress.com platform.
