  Hi there,

  What theme are you trying to use?

  On WordPress.com you create a site first, and then you can select from them themes we have available at WordPress.com/themes.

  If you have your own theme you bought/downloaded somewhere else, you still need to first create a site using one of our themes, and then upgrade to the Business Plan. Then you’ll be able to upload and activate your own theme on the site.

  Non-WordPress.com themes can only be used on our Business Plan.
