  hello. I set up a website with you people this afternoon and I only established a free site so I could see if it was going to work before I upgraded. I jsut tried to access barberisfamily.com and there is no access/

  According to https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/barberisfamily.com that domain hasn’t been registered yet.

  If you want to use your custom domain for your wordpress.com site, you must buy a paid plan; for most people the Starter Plan will do. If you buy a plan on a yearly base, you’ll get your custom domain free for the first year.
