  I would like to make a portfolio item my static home page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  A portfolio project cannot be set as the static front page, as it’s not a page.

  But you can create a new page, use the portfolio shortcode to only show a specific portfolio project on the page, and then set that page as your site’s front page.
