  I am making edits to my website. If something goes wrong how do I restore a website, hosted by wordpress.com?

  What exactly are you editing that you fear might go wrong? All posts and pages can save up to 25 revisions that you can revert to if required: https://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/page-post-revisions/
