Website crashed, having trouble located admin settings

    Hi! We hired a new admin at our organization and were trying to figure out how to log in to our website as an admin. In doing that something went wrong and now we cannot log in to the website, or even see the website appear – we get the error message that Safari or Firefox can’t connect to the server. We don’t have a webmaster account that we know of, and now can’t even access the back end at all. Please help!

    Please keep in mind that this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites. Standalone WordPress (org) and WordPressdotcom (where we are ) are different entities with separate documentation and support forums; more information about the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you need help with a site using the standalone WordPress software, have you tried contacting your web hosting provider for assistance? If they say this is a WordPress problem, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you are having.
