I have recently set up a new website which came with it’s own design. I have been trying to customize certain areas. In the end I decided to just switch themes. However, the new theme still has kept some of the old features, which I now can’t customize at all. I also can’t switch back to the original design because I don’t know which design it was. Help?

Which features were you trying to remove?
Also, if you wanted to switch back to the old theme you had, it was Twenty Fifteen.

There’s some graphics about a third of the way down the page, after the About Me section that I am trying to remove. Also it’s for this blog not the one posted:
emilyfrancesalgar.wordpress.comI also presumed that when you switched themes the whole set-up changed too? So for example, features from the old theme wouldn’t be carried over into the new theme.

If you edit the page named “Home” and scroll down, you’ll find them in the same place. You can delete them and then save the page.
You are correct that theme features do go away with the theme, but in this case it’s actually part of your page content.
