My web hosting service, Dreamhost, took down my website http://professorannlee.com because they claimed my check bounced when in fact I am paid in full with my credit card. I have tried to contact them 3 times over the last 24 hours, and they have been completely unresponsive. I cannot afford to have the website down any longer and need to move all my information to another hosting service. However, I don’t have any access to the database files at Dreamhost so I was wondering if there is any way I can get that information through WordPress since the website is built on wordpress. Please let me know. I really hope I am not held hostage to Dreamhost who has both my money and my data and is not delivering their service. Thanks, Ann

You’ve reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com. Since you’re having problems with a site running a self-hosted version of WordPress.org, we are not able to help, as we don’t have any access to Dreamhost databases, and can’t access your site content.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
