Website Down – Technical Difficulties??

I was trying to make a change to one of my pages. First, it won’t update from the wp-admin and there’s br tags all over my code that automatically keep inserting themselves. So I go to the wordpress.com area instead to make the update but only to find the same issues (not there before). The dashboard said i had an update, so i updated my site thinking maybe it was a bug that would be corrected. I went to the theme editor to see if there was an issue. I made 0 changes!! It said there was a php issue then when I went to theme functions it was completely blank? (Again made 0 changes!) Now when I try to visit my site it says ‘this website is experiencing technical difficulties’.
I did not do anything other than update from the dashboard to WP 5.2.

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.
