Website email no longer active, need to delete/update current website

  I created a wordpress website as part of a college project in 2017, and have since transitioned into a career where I need to either update this site or delete it, however the email addresses it would be attached to are edu emails that are no longer active. Previous recovery attempts have not worked since those recovery emails are inaccessible. Does anyone know of either a way to delete a website (preferred) or how to gain access without proper email access? It seems like something I need customer support to handle but have none.
