  Hi. I am just starting up a small home business and need a simple website and email address that is really cost effective at this stage. Email forwarding sounds good. I have a domain already registered which I bought off the net the other day (www.9thavenuebrokers.co.za). I would like to build a simple website and also have 2 or 3 email addresses such as (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  is this possible at the most cost effective way for now ?

  Hi there,

  Your plan for a simple website and a few email addresses sounds great! You can add your domain to your site on the Domains page. You can also find detailed steps for that process in our guide to Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping).

  Once that domain is added to your site, you’ll be able to set up Email Forwarding for the email addresses you want to use.

  To set up the website itself, I’d recommend reading through the tips for Using WordPress.com to Create a Website.
